The Colosseum and Hotel
The Colosseum seats 5,000, and Caesars says no seat is further than 225 feet from the stage. It’s hosted major touring acts since opening in 2008, and it’s often the reason people come at all.
The 758 rooms are split between two towers: 389 in the Forum Tower and 369 in the 27-storey Augustus Tower, which opened in 2008. Ask for a river view if the Detroit skyline matters to you. Dining ranges up to Neros Steakhouse, and the resort has over 100,000 square feet of meeting space, so convention weeks can affect room rates.
Who Runs Caesars Windsor
OLG conducts and manages gaming, and Caesars Entertainment runs the property. OLG picked Caesars as service provider in May 2025 after a competitive process, and the two signed a Casino Operating and Services Agreement on March 3, 2026, with a term of close to 20 years. It was the last site in OLG’s land-based modernization.
