Fallsview Casino Resort is the one most Ontarians mean when they talk about a casino weekend. It sits high above the Horseshoe Falls, with a large floor, a hotel and two entertainment venues under one roof. It’s also the Canadian casino with the highest slot and table counts we could verify.
This page covers what’s on the floor, what’s new for 2026, and a few things that catch first-time visitors out, including where the poker actually is.
Quick answer: Fallsview Casino Resort is at 6380 Fallsview Blvd in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and is operated by Mohegan under OLG. It has over 3,000 slots, about 100 tables and 372 hotel rooms. You must be 19 to enter. Slots run 24/7. There’s no Texas Hold’em on the main floor, so poker players should head to Casino Niagara.

The Gaming Floor
Slots are the bulk of the floor, and the mix runs from penny reels to $100 machines, with video poker and progressives in between. Slots and electronic table games, including an electronic craps game, are available 24 hours a day.
The live tables cover blackjack, baccarat, roulette, Spanish 21, Three Card Poker, Mississippi Stud, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Casino War and Pai Gow. Live tables run daily, but not every game is open at every hour. Live craps is the one to check: it runs near the main cage on Friday and Saturday from 8 PM to 2 AM, and in Fallsview Privé.
If you’re new to these games, our breakdowns of how baccarat works and craps rules and bets are worth a read before you sit down.
What’s New: Fallsview Privé
Mohegan opened Fallsview Privé in June 2026. It’s a 16,000-square-foot VIP area with slots, table games and hospitality. It’s aimed at high-value players, so check with the casino how entry works before you plan around it.
Where’s the Poker?
This surprises a lot of visitors. Fallsview says Texas Hold’em isn’t available on its main floor. The poker room is at sister property Casino Niagara, on Level 2, with 18 tables open daily from noon to 3:45 AM. Fallsview’s poker-style options are all table games against the house, such as Three Card Poker and Pai Gow.
Hotel and Shows
The hotel has 372 rooms and suites. The resort has two very different venues: the 1,500-seat Avalon Theatre for smaller shows, and the OLG Stage, a 5,000-seat entertainment centre for major acts. Show nights fill the hotel quickly, so book early if you’re coming for a concert.
What’s Changing in Niagara
Mohegan held exclusive casino rights in Niagara, and that’s ending. It has agreed with OLG to give them up and will keep running Fallsview and Casino Niagara. On October 28, 2026, OLG opened a Call for Investment seeking new operators in the region, with a reported C$100 million entrance fee for each. Nothing changes for visitors yet, but Niagara may look different within a few years.

- Dress however you like, within reason. Fallsview calls its dress code relaxed.
- Expect tickets, not coins. Slots pay out by printed ticket, which you redeem at a kiosk.
- Compare with other resorts. Our overview of Canadian land-based casinos shows how Fallsview stacks up.
