Caxino is still open to Canadians outside Ontario, now run by Granturo Malta Ltd under MGA licence MGA/B2C/1079/2025. Its welcome bonus matches your first five deposits with 35x wagering on the bonus only, but inactive accounts lose 10% a month after six months.
Caxino is one of the casinos in the Wildz Group, alongside Wildz, Wheelz and Spinz. It launched in 2020 and left Ontario with its sister sites in October 2025. Since then, one review site has listed it as closed, and our earlier review told you to check before registering. This time we checked Caxino’s own site, its registration settings, its general terms (version 1.6, updated October 14, 2026) and its bonus terms.
Quick take: Caxino is still open to Canadians outside Ontario. It is now run by Granturo Malta Ltd under a Malta Gaming Authority licence issued in September 2025. The welcome bonus matches your first five deposits and carries 35x wagering on the bonus only, and because the bonus is non-sticky you can drop it and withdraw real-money wins at any time. The catches are an inactivity fee that takes at least 10% of your balance each month after six months, and the fact that its terms describe payments in euros.

Is Caxino Still Open?
Yes. Caxino’s sign-up system lists 27 countries where registration is allowed, and Canada is one of them, with its own default currency rather than the euro. The site was running normally when we checked on October 19, 2026, and its terms had been updated five days earlier. The claim that Caxino closed in May 2026 doesn’t match what the operator’s own site shows.
Ontario is the exception. Caxino held an Ontario licence from 2023 but withdrew from the province in October 2025, along with its three sister casinos, and it no longer appears in iGaming Ontario’s directory. Ontario residents should use one of the licensed Ontario casinos we rank instead. Elsewhere in Canada, Caxino is an offshore casino, and our comparison of provincially regulated and offshore casinos explains what that means.
Who Runs Caxino
Caxino’s footer and terms name Granturo Malta Ltd, registered in Birkirkara, Malta, as the operator, holding Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/1079/2025, issued on September 10, 2025. Caxino’s about page describes Granturo as a member of the Wildz Group.
The Move From Rootz
Older reviews, including ours, said Caxino was run by Rootz Ltd under licence MGA/B2C/599/2018. The group has since rebranded as the Wildz Group and moved its casinos to Granturo Malta, and Wildz itself now shows the same new licence. The owners and platform are the same, so Caxino’s games, cashier and rules still match its sister sites. The Malta Gaming Authority is one of the stronger offshore regulators, with requirements for segregated player funds and a formal complaints route, so the licence is a solid one by offshore standards.
The Welcome Bonus
Caxino’s welcome offer is spread across your first five deposits. The version of the site we could load quotes it in euros:
| Each of your first 5 deposits | What you get |
|---|---|
| Deposit match | 100% up to 100 euros |
| Free spins | 100, given as 10 a day for 10 days |
| Five deposits in total | Up to 500 euros + 500 free spins |
Canadian review sites have quoted the package at around C$1,000, which fits the exchange rate the Wildz Group uses for its other Canadian offers, but check the amount in your cashier. Older figures of C$2,000 with 100 spins no longer match Caxino’s terms.
The Terms That Matter
- Wagering: 35 times the bonus. Only bets made with bonus money count toward it, so your deposit isn’t part of the calculation.
- Non-sticky bonus: real money is played first, and you can forfeit the bonus at any time to withdraw real-money winnings.
- Maximum bet: 5 euros per spin, or 0.50 euros per line, while using bonus money.
- Free spins: worth 0.10 euros each, with winnings at 35x and capped at 1,000 euros in total.
- Game weighting: most slots count in full, about 27 slots count 0%, table and live games count 50%, and video poker doesn’t count.
- Minimum deposit: 20 euros to claim the bonus.
- Expiry: bonus money not used within 60 days can be removed.
What 35x the Bonus Means
Deposit 100 euros and the 100-euro match needs 3,500 euros in bonus bets. On slots returning 96%, that costs about 140 euros on average, a little more than the bonus. On table games, which count 50%, the real requirement doubles to 70x. The saving grace is the non-sticky design: if your real money wins early, you can drop the bonus and withdraw. That makes this one of the fairer welcome offers on an offshore casino. Our breakdown of welcome bonus small print explains how sticky and non-sticky bonuses differ.
Spinbox, Cashback and VIP
Caxino’s loyalty system is built around a progress bar. Every bet of at least 0.20 euros moves it along, and filling it earns a spin on Spinbox, which awards free spins, bonus money or cashback items. You also get a free level-up the day after you advance a level through normal play. Cashback is paid as a percentage of real-money losses, but it arrives as bonus money with the usual 35x wagering, and each cashback item is capped at 100 euros. There is also a VIP programme for regular players. Free spins and bonus money from these rewards follow the same terms as the welcome bonus.
Payments and Withdrawals
The international payment page lists Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Apple Pay, Paysafecard and CASHlib, with bank transfers for withdrawals. The minimum deposit is 10 euros and the minimum withdrawal 20 euros. Card and bank withdrawals take one to three business days to arrive after Caxino pays them. An earlier Canadian review reported Interac withdrawals approved within 24 hours, and Caxino says methods vary by country, so check what your cashier offers.
Two things in the terms are worth knowing:
- Currency: the terms say Caxino accepts payments in euros and that any currency conversion costs are yours. Canada has its own default currency in Caxino’s system, so check whether your account is in Canadian dollars before you deposit.
- Large wins: wins above 50,000 euros may be paid in instalments of up to 10,000 euros a day, 25,000 a week or 100,000 a month. Those are generous limits compared with most offshore casinos.
Deposits must be wagered before you withdraw them, and extra identity checks apply once your deposits reach 2,000 euros in total. Our fast payout casinos page compares withdrawal speeds across sites.
The Inactivity Fee
If you don’t log in for six months while you have a real-money balance, Caxino can charge 10 euros or 10% of your balance each month, whichever is greater, until the account is empty. You get 30 days’ notice, and logging in stops the fee. On a 2,000-euro balance that is 200 euros a month, one of the steeper fees we have seen. Withdraw your balance before you take a break.
Watch Out for caxino.ca
If you search for Caxino in Canada, you may land on caxino.ca. It is not the casino. It is a comparison site that uses the Caxino name and promotes other casinos. The real site is caxino.com.
Pros and Cons
What we like:
- Still open to Canadians outside Ontario
- Malta Gaming Authority licence held by an established group
- Non-sticky bonus at 35x the bonus only
- Generous limits on large wins
- Spinbox rewards for regular play
What holds it back:
- Inactivity fee of at least 10% of your balance a month after six months
- Terms describe payments in euros, with conversion costs on you
- Interac reported but not shown on the international site
- Free spin winnings capped at 1,000 euros
- Not available in Ontario
Our Verdict
Caxino is open, properly licensed and offers one of the fairer welcome bonuses among offshore casinos, thanks to wagering on the bonus only and the option to drop it. It is very close to Wildz in what it offers. The inactivity fee is the clause to remember: play, withdraw, and don’t leave money in the account if you might step away for months. If you’d rather choose by bonus size or payment options, compare it with its sister site Wildz, or see our real money casinos for other options. If you ever need to escalate a problem, our guide to resolving casino disputes covers the Malta Gaming Authority route.
