Monopoly Live Canada 2026: Odds, RTP, Bonus Rolls and Where to Play

Monopoly Live takes the familiar money wheel and bolts on the world’s best-known board game. Most rounds are a simple wheel spin. Every so often, though, the wheel lands on a Rolls segment, the studio switches to a 3D Monopoly board, and Mr Monopoly walks around it collecting prizes from the properties he lands on. It is easier to follow than Crazy Time, slightly less wild, and on its number bets it pays back a little more.

Here is how the game works, what every segment’s odds are, what each bet returns over time, and where Canadian players can find it.

Quick answer: Monopoly Live is an Evolution game show with a 54-segment wheel. The number bets return around 96%, up to about 96.2%. The 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls bonus bets return less, with figures as low as about 91.3% reported. Low numbers are the best-value bets, and the 1 lands on about 41% of spins. Check the game’s help screen for the exact figures at your casino.

About this list. These are our general picks for players outside Ontario and Alberta, ranked by our overall review score. Monopoly Live is an Evolution game, so you need a casino with an Evolution live lobby. Search for it before you deposit. If you live in Ontario or Alberta, play at a provincially licensed site instead (see the section on provincial sites further down).

How Monopoly Live Works

  1. Place your bets. You can back the numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10, and the two bonus spots, 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls.
  2. The host spins the wheel. A number pays its own value to one, so 5 pays 5:1.
  3. Chance segments. Chance is not a bet spot. When it lands, Mr Monopoly draws a card that either pays a cash prize or applies a multiplier to the next spin.
  4. Rolls segments. If the wheel lands on 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls and you backed it, you go to the 3D board bonus with that many dice rolls.

As with every wheel game show, there are no decisions after the bets close. The only choice that affects your return is where you put your money.

The Monopoly Live Wheel: Segment Odds

Segment Segments on the wheel Chance per spin Pays
1 22 40.7% 1:1
2 15 27.8% 2:1
5 7 13.0% 5:1
10 4 7.4% 10:1
Bonus segments (2 Rolls, 4 Rolls, Chance) 6 11.1% combined Bonus or Chance card

Compared with Crazy Time, the wheel is weighted more toward the small numbers and has fewer bonus segments. One of the six bonus segments lands about once every nine spins, and 4 Rolls is the one players chase.

The 3D Board Bonus: 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls

When a Rolls segment lands, the game switches to a virtual Monopoly board. Mr Monopoly rolls two dice and moves around it:

  • Properties pay multipliers. The more valuable the street, the bigger the multiplier, much like rents in the board game.
  • Houses and hotels raise prizes. As he goes round the board, properties can be upgraded, and later laps pay more.
  • Doubles earn extra rolls. Rolling a double gives another roll, which is how a 2 Rolls bonus sometimes turns into a long run around the board.

Your total multiplier is applied to your stake on the Rolls spot that triggered the bonus. A 4 Rolls bonus gives twice as many moves, so its average prize is bigger.

Monopoly Live RTP by Bet

The headline return of up to about 96.23% applies to the number bets. The Rolls bets return less, because the board bonus has to pay for its occasional very large prizes. Reported figures vary between sources, so treat the table below as a guide and confirm the exact values in the game’s help screen.

Bet Reported RTP What that means per C$100 bet
1, 2, 5 and 10 Around 96%, up to about 96.2% About C$4 lost on average
2 Rolls and 4 Rolls Lower, with figures as low as about 91.3% reported Up to about C$9 lost on average

In plain terms, the number bets in Monopoly Live are a touch cheaper than the best bets in Crazy Time, and the bonus bets are clearly more expensive. If you back only 4 Rolls, you pay the most per bet and wait the longest between wins. Our page on Crazy Time’s odds by segment has the comparable figures for that game.

For context, European roulette returns 97.3%, and our comparison of live roulette casinos in Canada shows where to find it. Monopoly Live’s number bets sit in the same range as a typical online slot. Our explainer on how RTP works over a session explains why a few points matter.

Playing Monopoly Live Sensibly

No strategy changes the return. What you can manage is how fast you spend and how big the swings are.

  • Weight your stake toward low numbers. The 1 lands on about 41% of spins, and the number bets carry the best returns.
  • Keep Rolls bets small. If you want the board bonus, give it a small slice of each round’s stake rather than the bulk.
  • Ignore the history panel. A Rolls segment that has not landed for 50 spins is no more likely to land next. Each spin is independent.
  • Avoid chasing. Raising stakes to catch a bonus is the fastest way through a session budget.

As an example, C$1 a spin on the 1 costs about C$0.04 a spin on average. Spreading the same C$1 across both Rolls spots can cost more than twice as much, with far longer losing runs. Our breakdown of sensible casino money management covers session budgets in more depth.

Monopoly Live vs Crazy Time and Other Shows

Monopoly Live Crazy Time Dream Catcher
Bonus rounds 3D board (2 or 4 Rolls) plus Chance cards Four bonus games None (2x and 7x multipliers)
Bonus segments on the wheel 6 of 54 9 of 54 2 multiplier segments
Reported top RTP About 96.2% About 96.1% About 96.6%
Volatility Medium to high High Low to medium

Evolution has since built more Monopoly-branded shows, including Monopoly Big Baller, a bingo-style ball draw. Our comparison of every major live game show sets them side by side.

Monopoly Live Myths Worth Ignoring

  • “The bonus is due.” Every spin is independent. A wheel that has gone 40 spins without a Rolls segment is no more likely to land on one next. The history panel describes the past and nothing else.
  • “The host controls the wheel.” The host gives the wheel a push, but where it stops depends on physics that nobody can steer, and the multipliers come from software. Licensed studios are audited to check exactly this.
  • “Betting every spot guarantees a profit.” Covering every spot means you win something on nearly every spin, but each spin you also lose the bets that missed. Your average return is the blended RTP of everything you backed, which includes the lower-returning Rolls bets.
  • “Bigger bets after a loss win it back.” Raising stakes does not change the odds. It only makes the eventual losing run more expensive.

Who Monopoly Live Suits, and Who It Does Not

Monopoly Live is a good fit if you like the game show format but find Crazy Time too wild. Its wheel leans toward the small numbers, so your balance moves more gently from spin to spin, and the board bonus is easy to follow even if you have never played a live game show. The theme also makes it one of the friendliest shows for players who are new to live casinos.

It suits you less if return is your priority. Its best bets sit around 96%, which is a long way behind the 97.3% of European roulette or the 98.94% of baccarat’s Banker bet. If you want the most play for your money in the live casino, a table game is the better choice. If you want a cheap, social half hour with a chance of a big board bonus, Monopoly Live does that job well.

Monopoly Live and Casino Bonuses

Most bonuses do not suit game shows. Many casinos count live games at 0% toward wagering or block them while a bonus is active. Among our reviewed casinos, BetPlays counts game shows at 20%, which still means C$17,500 of bets to clear a C$100 bonus at 35x. A bonus with no wagering requirement or a cashback offer suits Monopoly Live players far better. If you take a match offer, our explainer on welcome bonus terms and weighting shows what to check.

Monopoly Live at Ontario, Alberta and Offshore Casinos

In Ontario, 888 Casino runs MONOPOLY Live alongside Deal or No Deal and Funky Time, and our Betway Casino review found it among Evolution’s game shows there. Our overview of regulated online casinos in Ontario lists the other options. Alberta opened its regulated market on July 13, 2026, and our page on Alberta online casinos tracks the launches.

For the rest of Canada, Wildz runs Monopoly, Dream Catcher and Deal or No Deal from Evolution. Casinos without an Evolution lobby, such as Dream Vegas, do not carry it.

Limits, Mobile and Getting Started

Minimum bets are low, often C$0.10 per spot, and the casino sets the maximum. The 3D bonus works well on phones, but it is the part of the game most affected by a weak connection, so use Wi-Fi if you can. Our ranking of the best casino apps in Canada covers mobile performance.

  1. Choose a licensed casino with an Evolution lobby.
  2. Deposit with a method you can withdraw to. Interac casino payments are the usual choice.
  3. Read the help screen for each bet’s payout and RTP.
  4. Watch a few rounds, including a bonus if you can, before you bet.
  5. Back mostly low numbers, with small Rolls bets for the bonus.
  6. Set your session budget before the first spin.

Monopoly Live is fair at a licensed casino. The wheel is physical and filmed live, and the multipliers come from certified random number generators. Our explainer on how casino games are tested for fairness covers the details. Withdrawals are a separate question, and our ranking of fast withdrawal casinos helps there.

Keep It a Game

The board bonus is designed to be worth waiting for, and that is what makes long sessions easy. Set a limit before you start, stop when it is reached, and do not raise stakes to chase a 4 Rolls. Our page on responsible gambling help in Canada lists support services in every province.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the RTP of Monopoly Live?

Up to about 96.23% on the number bets. The 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls bonus bets return less, with figures as low as about 91.3% reported. The game’s help screen lists the exact figure for each bet.

What is the best bet in Monopoly Live?

The number bets, and the 1 in particular for frequent wins: it lands on about 41% of spins and pays even money.

How often does the bonus land in Monopoly Live?

Six of the 54 segments are bonus segments, so one of them lands about once every nine spins on average.

What does the Chance segment do?

Chance is not a bet spot. When it lands, a card is drawn that either pays a cash prize or applies a multiplier to the next spin.

Is Monopoly Live better than Crazy Time?

Its number bets return slightly more and its swings are a little smaller, so it suits players who want a calmer game. Crazy Time has more bonus variety and bigger top multipliers.

Can you play Monopoly Live in Canada?

Yes, at Ontario and Alberta licensed casinos with an Evolution lobby, and at offshore casinos that run Evolution games for the rest of Canada.

What is the minimum bet on Monopoly Live?

Often C$0.10 per spot. The casino sets the exact minimum and maximum.

Is Monopoly Live rigged?

Not at a licensed casino. The wheel is physical and filmed live, and the multipliers come from a certified random number generator. Its lower return is built into the game’s design.
