ZetCasino has been open to Canadians outside Ontario since 2018, with Interac, a sportsbook and the Bonus Crab. But its own site names two different licences, neither of which we could verify, and its terms cap bonus winnings at 10x and withdrawals at C$750 a day for most players.

ZetCasino has been around since 2018 and is a familiar name on Canadian comparison sites. It has a big game library, a sportsbook, Interac, and a welcome bonus with a quirky extra, the Bonus Crab. It is also one of the hardest casinos we cover to pin down on the most basic question of all: who runs it, and who regulates it. This time we went to the source and read the site’s own licence text and terms. What we found is worth knowing before you deposit.

Quick take: ZetCasino is easy to use and accepts Canadians outside Ontario, but its own website contains two different licence statements, one of which refers to a licence type that no longer exists, and neither of which we could verify. Its terms cap bonus winnings at ten times the bonus and limit most players to C$750 a day and C$10,500 a month in withdrawals. If you play here, play without the bonus, keep your balance small and withdraw often.

Licensing: What ZetCasino Says About Itself

Most casinos print one licence statement in their footer. ZetCasino’s own site text contains two, and they do not agree.

The Two Licence Statements

  • Curaçao version: “ZetCasino.com is operated by remote gambling license No. 8048/JAZ issued by Antillephone N.V.”, with a contact address in Willemstad, Curaçao. The site’s own configuration also lists its jurisdiction as Curaçao.
  • Philippine version: the site is “owned and operated by Liernin Enterprises LTD”, a company incorporated in the Marshall Islands, under a Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) offshore gaming licence, with a Cyprus company handling payments.

Review sites add to the confusion by naming other companies again, including Tabidi N.V. ZetCasino’s general terms, last updated in August 2026, do not name the operating company at all. They refer only to “the company operating the Website”.

Why Neither Statement Holds Up

The Philippine licence is the easier one to rule out. The Philippines banned offshore gaming operations, and PAGCOR cancelled all of its offshore gaming licences by December 31, 2024. In 2025 it warned that anyone still claiming to operate under one is breaking the law.

The Curaçao statement describes a sub-licence under Antillephone’s master licence. Curaçao scrapped that system under a new national gaming ordinance that came into force on December 24, 2024. Operators now need their own licence directly from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, with their own licence number. ZetCasino’s site text still quotes the old-style sub-licence number, and we could not find a current direct licence for it.

What That Means for You

We are not saying ZetCasino will not pay you. But if something goes wrong, you may not be able to tell which company you have a contract with, or which regulator would hear a complaint. Its complaints page points players to AskGamblers, an independent review site, rather than to a regulator. That is the weakest position of any casino in our reviews, and it is why we would keep balances small here. ZetCasino is not registered with iGaming Ontario, so Ontario residents should pick from our list of legal Ontario online casinos. Our comparison of provincially regulated and offshore casinos explains what recourse a licence normally gives you.

The Welcome Bonus

The site advertises a 100% match up to €500 with 200 free spins and one Bonus Crab. For Canadian players that is shown as about C$750 or $770 depending on the page. Earlier reviews also quoted a 200% version up to C$1,500. The offer in your account when you sign up is the one that applies.

The Terms That Matter

ZetCasino’s general terms set default rules for every deposit bonus, unless the offer’s own terms say otherwise:

  • Wagering: 35x the deposit plus the bonus.
  • Win cap: the most you can withdraw from a deposit bonus is ten times the bonus amount. Anything above that is removed when you withdraw.
  • Maximum bet: bets above 5 euros, or the equivalent, before wagering is complete count as bonus abuse.
  • Free spin winnings: paid as bonus money with 40x wagering.
  • Restricted play: low-risk betting patterns, such as covering most of a roulette table, are banned.

The 10x Ceiling

The win cap changes the maths more than the wagering does. On a C$100 deposit with a C$100 bonus, you need C$7,000 in bets, and the most you can ever cash out from that bonus is C$1,000. On the full C$750 bonus, you need C$52,500 in bets, and the ceiling is C$7,500. Hit a big win while the bonus is active and everything above the cap is forfeited. At a 96% return, C$7,000 of play costs about C$280 on average, so the typical result is losing your deposit. The cap only bites in the rare cases where you win big. That is a poor trade, and it is why we would decline this bonus. How win caps and wagering interact is explained in our comparison of welcome bonuses in Canada.

Bonus Crab, Cashback and VIP

  • Bonus Crab: a claw-machine mini-game. You get 30 seconds to grab a prize, and the Canadian version advertises prizes of up to $15,000. Crab chances come with the welcome offer and some promotions.
  • Weekly cashback: the site advertises 15% weekly cashback. Check whether it is paid as cash or bonus money before counting on it.
  • Coins and shop: you collect coins through play and can swap them for free spins or free bets. Spin winnings carry 40x wagering, and the spins have to be used within seven days.
  • VIP levels: five levels, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Zeta. Your level is set by your activity over the previous 90 days, including the balance between what you deposit and what you withdraw. It drops to the lowest level if you stop betting for a month. Higher levels raise your withdrawal limits.

Game Library and Sportsbook

Game counts vary from about 1,100 to more than 3,000 depending on who counts and when, with around 80 live tables. Providers include NetEnt, Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Red Tiger, iSoftBet and Evolution for the live casino. Slots dominate, and one review notes there is no dedicated video poker section. ZetCasino also runs a sportsbook, with free bets among its promotions. Our slots hub and live casino hub explain how to compare what is on offer.

Payments and Withdrawal Limits

ZetCasino accepts Canadian dollars and Interac. Reviews also list cards, e-wallets such as Skrill and several cryptocurrencies. We could not confirm crypto from the site, which lists no crypto among its supported currencies, so check the cashier. The minimum deposit is reported at C$10, though the bonus may need more.

How Much You Can Withdraw

Withdrawals are capped by VIP level. These are the Canadian-dollar limits from ZetCasino’s terms:

VIP level Per day Per month
Alpha (most players) C$750 C$10,500
Beta C$750 C$15,000
Gamma C$1,200 C$18,000
Delta C$1,500 C$23,000
Zeta C$2,300 C$30,000

At the entry level, a C$5,000 win takes at least seven days to withdraw. A C$15,000 win, the Bonus Crab’s top advertised prize, would take at least 20 days at C$750 a day and would hit the C$10,500 monthly cap first, pushing the rest into the next month. They are identical to the limits we found at QuickWin, which reviews link to the same Curaçao licence number and which appears to run on the same platform. Our page on high roller casinos compares these caps with other casinos we review.

Rules Worth Knowing

  • Processing: requests are handled within three business days of the request, or of your last paid withdrawal, and you can have no more than three pending at once.
  • Wagering before withdrawal: every deposit must be wagered at least once, and withdrawals can be declined if you have wagered less than about 20 euros in that calendar month.
  • Payment method: the casino may pay you through a different method from the one you chose.
  • Verification: usually 24 to 48 hours once documents are received, sometimes longer.
  • Closing your account: if you close it with money still in it, the balance is voided. Withdraw everything first.
  • Inactivity fee: after 180 days without logging in, 5 euros a month can be taken from your balance.

The terms do say customer funds are held separately from company funds, which is a point in ZetCasino’s favour if it is honoured. Our fast payout casinos page lists sites with higher limits, and the payment methods hub compares the options.

Mobile, Support and Responsible Gambling

The full casino and sportsbook work in a mobile browser. Reviews disagree on whether there is a downloadable app, so use the browser site. Support is available 24/7 by live chat and email at support@zetcasino.com, and there is a European phone number, +356 2778 0669. Self-exclusion is handled by emailing support. Free, confidential help is available from ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600) and your provincial helpline. Our mobile casinos page compares browser-based casinos.

Pros and Cons

What we like:

  • Interac and Canadian dollars accepted
  • Large game library, live casino and a sportsbook in one account
  • Bonus Crab and weekly cashback add some fun
  • 24/7 chat and email, plus a phone line

What holds it back:

  • Two conflicting licence statements, neither of which we could verify
  • Bonus winnings capped at 10x the bonus, on top of 35x deposit-plus-bonus wagering
  • Withdrawals limited to C$750 a day and C$10,500 a month for most players
  • Balance voided if you close your account without withdrawing
  • Not available in Ontario

Our Verdict

ZetCasino is convenient, but convenience is most of what it offers. We could not establish who runs it or who regulates it, its bonus caps your upside, and its withdrawal limits mean a big win is paid in instalments. If you still want to play, skip the bonus, keep your balance low and cash out regularly. If you want Interac with a regulator you can actually check, Wildz and Casilime both hold Malta Gaming Authority licences, and Stake is the better-known option for crypto. More choices are on our real money casinos page.
